Gambling revenue in Denmark saw a 7.8% year-on-year increase in November 2024, reaching DKK654 million (£74.1 million/€87.6 million/$90.7 million), according to figures from Spillemyndigheden, the Danish gambling regulator.

Online casinos contributed significantly to the rise, generating DKK295 million in revenue—a 17.9% increase compared to November 2023 and 3.9% more than October 2024. - Slots accounted for 77.4% of online casino revenue, followed by blackjack (6.7%), roulette (6.6%), poker (3.5%), bingo (3.1%), and other games (2.7%).
- Sports Betting Performance:
Sports betting brought in DKK232 million, showing minimal growth of 0.3% year-on-year. - Mobile betting dominated with 65.4% of the segment’s revenue, desktop betting accounted for 14.7%, and retail venues contributed 19.9%.
- Land-Based Gambling Segments:
- Physical slot machines added DKK95 million, a 1.9% increase compared to the previous year. Of this, 79.3% came from gaming halls, while restaurants contributed the remaining 20.7%.
- Land-based casino revenue rose slightly by 0.8%, reaching DKK31 million.

- ROFUS Self-Exclusion Registrations:
By the end of November, 54,704 people had registered with ROFUS, Denmark’s national self-exclusion programme.
- 77.8% of registrants were male, and 22.2% were female.
- Among all participants, 65.9% opted for permanent exclusion from gambling.
- StopSpillet Support Calls:
The StopSpillet service, which provides guidance to individuals with gambling concerns, received 39 calls in November.
